The aim of this project is ASWM to support the development process of democratic and effective local government at the area municipalities. This objective will be achieved by implementing a series of activities leading to:

- Improving the professional skills of municipal officials and councilors, namely conducting three training seminars, publishing and distribution of printed aids, provision of advisory services and technical assistance to municipalities - members;

- Improving coordination between the structures of municipal and state administration by initiating meetings with representatives of state institutions at regional and national level - will hold meetings with MPs from the region and local governments, thematic workshops between municipal officials and representatives of various ministries and agencies will develop proposals for legislative changes concerning the activities of municipalities and opinions on the expected ones;
