The main goals were:

- Raising awareness of citizens about their rights in the process of decision-making at local level;

- stimulation of the civic activity in the process of decision-making;

- Increasing capacity of local authorities to work with citizens - rights and duties of both parties in the process.

During the project were develop:

1. Social research about the civil index at the citizens society at the municipalities in Blagoevgrad region;

2. Training the municipal administration about “The citizens into the government management”

3. Development and implementation of information materials

4. Participation into public discussion about the municipal budget in Blagoevgard municipality;

The target group of the project included: local managements and experts from the municipal administrations and city council from the municipalities of Blagoevgrad.
